The Story

At Pfizer's new Biotherapeutics and Bioinnovation Center, we're not content waiting to witness the evolution of our industry. Instead, we're driven by science, building on our current successes and capabilities, and playing a critical role in developing the most compelling story of scientific discoveries.

And the story continues with the launch of our new RNAi research group.

The Mission

Headquartered at the Research Technology Center (RTC) in Cambridge, MA, and comprising research groups in Cambridge and Düsseldorf, the goal of our RNAi center is clear - delivering RNAi therapies to meet our patient needs and in doing so helping Pfizer become a top tier biotherapeutics company.

Our Chief Scientific Officer, Dr. Art Krieg, Chief inventor of CpG Technology, plans on building a team of elite RNAi scientists who will work on solving the challenges of RNAi delivery to provide the fullest possible clinical benefit of this technology platform.

Our mission is to develop the therapeutic applications of RNAi, and to apply innovative science to solve the difficulties inherent in RNAi therapeutics. Applying our capabilities across a broad range of technologies, our mission combines the best of both worlds - small innovative scientific groups, with the backing of a large pharma.
